Silicon nitride is a compound synthesized under artificial conditions. Although silicon nitride was directly synthesized more than 140 years ago, it was only remembered as a stable "refractory" nitride at that time. After World War II, the rapid development of science and technology urgently needed high temperature resistant, high hardness, high strength and corrosion resistant materials. After long-term efforts, silicon nitride was not taken seriously until 1955, and high-quality, low-cost, and widely used silicon nitride ceramics were truly produced in the mid-1970s. Why is the development process so complicated? This is because the performance and function between silicon nitride powder and silicon nitride ceramics are far apart. Without a strict and meticulous reprocessing process of silicon nitride powder, it is impossible to obtain truly excellent silicon nitride ceramics. High-quality silicon nitride ceramics would not have the important position that silicon nitride has today.

Oxidized ceramic balls have high strength and toughness, good wear resistance, high corrosion resistance, high rigidity, non-magnetic conductivity, and electrical insulation under normal (.5ft) conditions. The strength and hardness of oxidized ceramic balls are almost unchanged at 600. C. The true density is 6.00g/cm3, and the thermal expansion rate is close to that of metal, so it can be used in conjunction with metal.

Alumina ceramic balls are a kind of ceramic filler mainly processed and produced from aluminum hydride. This kind of product has various specifications and sizes with different purities, and is used as a covering support material and tower filler for catalysts in reactors. Alumina ceramic balls are resistant to high pressure, low water content, and stable chemical properties. They can withstand the corrosion of acids, alkalis and organic solvents, and can withstand temperature changes during the production process. The main function is to increase the distribution points of gas or liquid, support and protect the catalyst with low strength.
