Silicon carbide die sleeve
Silicon carbide die sleeves are made by isostatic pressing and sintering at high temperature. According to the user's design requirements, we can process the inner circle holes and vents to achieve the specified precision tolerance.
Typical applications
- Aspheric glass moulding hot forming die (die sleeve)
Features and advantages
- It still has high hardness and mechanical strength at high temperature to avoid surface scratching in the process of molding.
- Excellent surface processing quality, no pores on the surface, smooth optical mirror, no adhesion with glass, good demoulding performance;
- Excellent oxidation resistance under high temperature environment conditions, high temperature will not react with optical glass, surface quality is stable;
- High thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, heat resistance and impact performance: withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles in the molding process, long service life;
- Because the thermal expansion coefficient of silicon carbide is slightly lower than that of tungsten steel, it is very suitable for the fit of tungsten steel die kernel, and it is more convenient to take and put the die, and it can greatly reduce the product cost to extend the life of die kernel
